Early Summer 2022
All change a little bit and some significant changes!
I made the mistake of including the England v India series in the table back last September. At that time the points were evenly matched between the two teams – BUT moving it to July 2022 meant lots of scores changed a bit (eg Australia moved from 84.33 to 84.21) – [within the table, a series is entered on the day it finishes] BUT also no Table movement until BAZBALL.
England gain 10.81 points against New Zealand, this means NZ drop into 4th below South Africa and England move just below them in 5th, now ahead of Pakistan.
Then the rearranged 5th test against India and England’s convincing win enables them to gain 5.50 points to get them hot on the tails of those in 3rd and 4th. And Enlgand’s next series is against South Africa – good win there and England will be up to third!
However one other change as a result of the England India series is that India lose 5.50 points and drop below Australia – the lead changes for the third time this year!
