Bangladesh‘s trip to South Africa gave them an opportunity to regain position over WI but a drop of 1.59 points resulted in no change – but there is a definiste spread across the table with only Ind & Aus and Afg & Ire close in terms of points… but if the next batch of results is as dramatic as this batch – we could see lots happening!

England travel to West Indies wih every opportunity to gain points – but a close series results in series defeat and a loss of 3.58. a drop to 41 but still in 6th. West Indies get up to 31 and regain 8th place above Bangladesh

Australia go to Pakistan as table toppers knowing that any point loss will hand lead to India. Pakistan gain 1.18 points getting them up to 48 in 5th. Australia drop to 84.33 and second place. India retake lead

India need to gain 2.63 points from their series with Sri Lanka to regain lead. They get 2.51 making their total 85.40, just below Australia (85.51). Sri Lanka remain 7th (35.42)

New Zealand v South Africa has no difference in table (SAf gain 0.19 points)

England are thrashed by Australia – but what happens to table? Australia gain 10.5 points and get up to 86  and Australia top the table! England (44) drop to 6th below Pakistan (47)

India‘s lead of 18 points is reduced to 8 (new total of 83) by South Africa‘s victory. South Africa (60) go into 4th pushing England (54) down to 5th.

New Zealand begin 2022 in worst way losing 5.75 points against Bangladesh – dropping New Zealand (70 pts) below Australia (75 pts) and Bangladesh (29) moving up to 8th above West Indies (27)
